Documents Required :
- Certified true copy of passport (non-Malaysian)
- Certified true copy of relevant academic and professional certificates
- Two (2) referral letters from institutions and/or professional bodies
- Net worth statement of the shareholder and certified by qualified accountant OR certified true copy of the latest three months of bank statements indicating the amount of funds available
- Proposed organisation chart of the applicant
- Framework on Know-Your-Customers’ policy and compliance to the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act 2001
- Draft services management agreement between the applicant and the service provider for function to be undertaken by other parties.
- Draft contract or agreement between the applicant with its liquidity providers, trading platform providers and proposed customers, if applicable . The draft agreement must be available before the issuance of the licence.
- Form LFB-MB / MB1 & its attachment (Appendix)

- Documents may be certified by any authorised person including, but not limited to, commissioner for oaths, notary public, certified public accountants, advocates or solicitors, company secretaries and Malaysian/foreign embassies. Copy of bank statements must be certified by the bank. Where documents are not in the national language of Malaysia or in English, please provide English-translated version of the documents, duly certified/notarized
- For your information, in applying for the above subject license it is very important for you to come up with a good governance structure and compliance practice including AML/CFT manuals and compliance manual.
- Kindly be informed, that our fees do not include preparing or reviewing Policy & Procedures on compliance or Anti Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (AMLCFT).
We would appreciate if you could produce a draft of the said Policy and Procedures as we do not provide them. However, if our assistance is required in preparing these manuals, we are pleased to assist and will provide a separate quotation accordingly.
